更多评论本片用颓废的废土设定来复刻越战时期的嬉皮士与美国，还原当时的反战情绪和对外部的污点化宣传 被母亲圈护住的女儿看不到外面的世界，是因为母亲在外面做了脏事，正如她在女儿生日宴会上所作的那样，高度利己害死他人。而片中的暴走族不受礼法约束，肆意妄为，原因却是因为他们在战争中失去了父母，只得自谋生路 所以本片的意识形态便是将母亲比喻成了发动伊拉克战争的美国，越战的惨痛记忆还没有被完全抹杀，它就又掀起了一次“越战”，它说伊拉克如何恐怖，如何危害美国安全，但它却没有告诉民众它在伊拉克做的脏事，于是，女儿的觉醒便是“反战”的态度（你杀死了我的姐姐，我不会再让你得逞了） 而将08年作为三战时间的设定，事后看则颇显预言性
