Matthew Weiner (born 29 June 1965)[1] is an American writer, director and producer of television drama. He is the creator, executive producer, head writer, and show runner of the AMC television series Mad Men. He is also noted for his work on the HBO series The Sopranos, on which he served as a writer and producer during the show's fifth and sixth seasons. Weiner has received eight Emmy Awards for his work on Mad Men and The Sopranos as well as three Golden Globe Awards for Mad Men.[2][3][4][5][6] Mad Men has won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series three consecutive years (2008, 2009, 2010); the Sopranos (with Weiner as executive producer) won the same award twice (2004, 2007).[7] Weiner was named one of the 2011 Time 100 Most Influential People In The World.[8]

Arianda was born in Manhattan, New York, to a Ukrainian family. She grew up in Clifton, New Jersey and Heidelberg, Germany. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University's Graduate Acting Program in 2009.

Arianda made her Broadway debut in April 2011 in the lead role of Billie Dawn in the Broadway production of Born Yesterday, with James Belushi and Robert Sean Leonard.

She appeared as Vanda in the comedy-drama play Venus in Fur Off-Broadway in 2010. The play transferred to Broadway, the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, in early November 2011, and she received dazzling reviews.

She has appeared in several films, including Win Win, Tower Heist and Midnight in Paris.

不做幕后工作的时候，他也演电影，也客串电视剧，比如《美国狼人在伦敦 An American Werewolf in London》《宝贝福星 Johnny Dangerously》《宝贝小情人 My Girl》《王牌大姐大 Straight Talk》《禁欲40天 40 Days and 40 Nights》《破碎之城 Broken City》《血缘 Blood Ties》等电影。比如在《谎言屋 House of Lies》客串过Marco Pelios。

他爸Dominick Dunne就曾经是一名制片人和作家，他叔叔 John Gregory Dunne是一名编剧，虽然都不太出名。他的妹妹是已故的演员Dominique Dunne，曾经演过82年的《鬼驱人 Poltergeist》。他的前妻，是曾经在《法律与秩序》主剧演过ADA Jamie Ross 的女演员，Carey Lowell。
